David M. Rosen

Managing Director

David M. Montero-Rosen joined Cypress Associates LLC as Managing Director in Healthcare M&A in 2025. Previously, he ran his own firm which he founded; The Graham & Dodd Fund LLC.

 

The Graham & Dodd Fund was an asset management firm which ran municipal and state pension plan monies for nearly 20 years. He was the Chief Investment Officer of Graham & Dodd and one of the portfolio managers for the fund. Prior, he was Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. where he ran Emerging Markets Fixed Income Research. Before that, he managed Equity Emerging Markets Research for Kidder Peabody & Co. Inc. (A General Electric Company), where he represented The Government of Panama in its  Brady Bond Negotiations and The Government of Vietnam in its Debt Negotiations with their bank creditors. Amongst his responsibilities at Kidder Peabody was Emerging Markets M&A.

 

Mr. Rosen has nearly 30 years of experience  on Wall Street in financial negotiations and building businesses.

 

He sits on the Board of Directors for Chicago Collegiate, a charter school on the south side of Chicago and is currently on the finance committee building out a new school facility.

 

He has a Bsc. In Economics from The London School of Economics & Political Science (Univ. of London) and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business.

 

He also has Certificates from M.I.T in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Harvard University’s Medical School in Artificial Intelligence in Health Care.
